An update for you, and what’s next in North Idaho real estate

As we wrap up a wild March, we want to update you on the current status of our local real estate market and how the COVID-19 situation has affected it.

First, know that we are here for you and our community. We specialize in connecting people to goods, services, and community members that are needed. We have a vast network of people and businesses that we have strong relationships that we can connect you with.

Idaho has declared real estate as an essential industry during this crisis, but that does not mean that it is business as usual. Our team is working from home and taking every precaution to ensure everyone’s safety. Our agents are offering virtual showings and in-person showings as necessary. For in person showings we ask that our clients drive their own vehicles and meet us at the property. We observe the recommended personal distance, frequently sanitize our hands, and are mindful to touch as little as possible while showing homes. We also have these same requests on our listings for our sellers’ safety.

As expected, personal showings have slowed down as many prefer to view homes via photos and video.

We still have sellers who want to sell, buyers who want to buy, and lenders/escrow officers/title companies are all up and running as they adjust to changing some business practices as applicable.

This isn’t the first storm that our team members have weathered, as some of our agents have weather the 2008 recession and many other bumps along the road. We know we will get through this stronger than ever, we just have to have patience and faith.

We invite you to reach out if you have any questions. Whether you want to start planning your next steps, need help, need someone to pick up groceries/medications, or just want someone to talk to, please don’t hesitate to contact any one of us (Greg, Jerry, Karen, Nick, Michael, Bobby, Elyse, or Elizabeth). We also love video chat/facetime/zoom, etc.! Make sure to connect on Facebook and Instagram, as we love to mix it up with both real estate posts and fun posts to hopefully bring a bit of joy to your day!
