Harrison: Old Time Picnic

Harrison’s Old Time Picnic is a traditional community celebration with parade and family-friendly old fashioned games such as sack race, baby crawling contest, and the greased pole climb. There is also a ladies’ nail driving contest and a men’s obstacle contest. While there are many locals and families with ties to the area, we welcome everyone to come and enjoy a celebration in Harrison’s City Park!
The three-day event begins with a dinner on Friday in the Harrison Grange Hall, where the Coronation of the King and Queen for the year takes place. Sunday kicks off with a breakfast in the city park from 7:30 a.m. – 10 a.m., followed by the parades and activities in the park and a lunch from 11 .a.m – 2 p.m.
Kellogg Silver Hoops 3 on 3 Tournament

Silver Hoops is an annual 3 on 3 basketball tournament that is hosted in Kellogg, ID. Kellogg is only 30 minutes from Coeur d’Alene, about an hour east of Spokane, WA, and is a scenic 2-hour drive from Missoula, MT. In addition to competitive games, there are individual competitions, a wide array of vendors, music, and access to the city pool. Our tournament attracts teams of all ages from all surrounding areas.
Coeur d’Alene Street Fair

Downtown Coeur d’Alene’s 29th annual community street fair is a festival along Sherman Ave. with vendor booths, live music, food and much more. The event is the same weekend as Art on the Green at North Idaho College, with a free shuttle bus between each. July 30-31 from 10 am-8 pm, Aug. 1 from 10 am-5 pm.

Art on the Green is a marketplace, performance space and a gathering place for friends and families, this yearly event is the highlight of summer in Coeur d’Alene. This summer, 160-plus artists, a variety of musicians and performers, and over 500 volunteers will come together to present the 52nd annual Art on the Green.

Festival at Sandpoint

Raised in Coeur d’Alene, ID, COLBY ACUFF is a North Idaho country boy with southern roots. He prides himself in writing songs that connect to people just like his hero’s have done his whole life. Acuff’s blend of old-school storytelling and powerful voice takes you to an unfamiliar place of honest country music. From high-flying grassroots country to slow ballads that will pull at your heartstrings, there is no doubt that his music is meant for the people. Acuff has been performing since he was 11 years old and recently released his freshman album “Life of a Rolling Stone” in early 2020 and his sophomore album “If I were the Devil” in February of 2021.
