Summer Camps for 2022

If you have kids and are looking for things to keep them occupied for the summer, here is a small list of fun camps available for 2022.

Full Day Camps:

  • Camp Ka-Mee-Lin: 6/13 – 8/26 M-F, Drop-off 8:15-9:00am – Pick-up 4:00-4:30pm $150/Week (Extended Care: Drop-off 7:00-9:00am – Pick-up 4:00-6:00pm is an additional $40/Week) for Grades: K – 8 (Based on 2022-2023 school year). Camp Location: Post Falls Kiwanis Park, 4176 E Weatherby Ave, Post Falls
    • Summer Day Camp is the classic Camp Ka-Mee-Lin experience many have come to know and love. Activities include swimming, crafts, games, weekly field trips, and more!
  • Wilderness Camp: 7/11-7/15 and/or 7/25-7/29 M-F, Drop-off 7:00-9:00am –Pick-up 4:00-6:00pm $250/Week for Grades: 5-8 (Based on 2022-2023 school year). Camp Location: Post Falls Kiwanis Park, 4176 E Weatherby Ave, Post Falls
    • Send your campers to our outdoor education Wilderness Camp! Campers will learn about trip planning, proper camping skills, and outdoor safety skills. Participants will attend Camp Monday and Tuesday during regular Day Camp hours, working as a team to prepare for their campout. Wednesday, campers will depart for their campout, returning to Camp on Friday. Campout location this year for both weeks is Farragut State Park.
  • JACC Art Camps: 8/8 – 8/26 M-F, Drop-off 8:15-9:00am – Pick-up 4:00-4:30pm $180/Week (Extended Care: Drop-off 7:00-9:00am – Pick-up 4:00-6:00pm is an additional $40/Week) for Grades: 2-6 (Based on 2022-2023 school year). Camp Location: Post Falls Kiwanis Park, 4176 E Weatherby Ave, Post Falls
    • The Jacklin Arts & Cultural Center offers a variety of art camps. Drop-off will be at Kiwanis Park where campers will participate in the Camp Ka-Mee-Lin morning assembly. After assembly, campers will board the bus/van and head to the JACC for instruction. Arts camp activities at the JACC will run from 10:30am to 3:00pm. All arts camp activities will be instructed by JACC staff. Upon returning to Kiwanis Park, campers will participate in snack time and “campfire” (wrap-up). Campers should bring a sack lunch each day.
  • Skyhawks Sports Camps: 6/13-8/19 M-F, Times dependent on the sport chosen (Some 9:00-3:00, others 9:00-12:00), Locations vary in Post Falls, Hayden and Coeur d’Alene programs, depending on the sport. Sports Camps Offered:
    • Basketball

    • Soccer
    • Flag Football
    • Cheerleading

Partial Day Camps:

  • Pee Wee Camp: 6/13 – 8/26 M-F, Drop-off 8:15-9:00am – Pick-up 12:00-12:30pm $131/Week for Ages: 4-5. Camp Location: Post Falls Kiwanis Park, 4176 E Weatherby Ave, Post Falls
    • Do you have a young camper who isn’t quite ready for a full day of camp? Pee Wee Camp is the perfect option for you! Your young camper will participate in a half-day Summer Day Camp. Activities include crafts, group games, and more!
  • Summer Soccer Camp: 7/21-25 (group 4 only on the 25), Stub Myer Park (Age Groups 1 – 3) or Rotary Field (Age Group 4). Join Rathdrum Parks & Recreation for Summer Soccer Camp, taught by local High School Soccer Coaches with a combined 80 yrs. of experience.
    • Age Group 1: 5 – 6 yrs. old, Time: 8:00 – 10:00 AM
    • Age Group 2: 7 – 8 yrs. old, Time: 8:00 – 11:00 AM
    • Age Group 3: 9 – 10 yrs. old, Time: 8:00 – 11:00 AM
    • Age Group 4: 11 – 17 yrs. old, Time: 1:00 – 5:00 PM
  • Summer Mini-Camps: 6/13-17, 7/11-15, 8/8-12, 8/22-26 M-F, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. $55/week ($30 per additional sibling)
    • For ages 6-11, register at the Spirit Lake City Hall
  • Summer Music Camps: North Idaho Rock School (213 W Appleway Ave, Suite 10, Coeur d’Alene) is offering several options for kids to enroll in summer music camps.
    • Rockin Guitar (Ages 8-12 and 13-18) This group guitar camp is for complete beginners and will help you learn the fundamentals of guitar.
      • June 13 – 16 9:30a – 12:30p
      • June 27 – 30 2:00p – 5:00p
      • July 18 – 21 2:00p – 5:00p
      • August 8 – 11 2:00p – 5:00p
    • KidzRock! (Ages 4-5 and 6-7) Are you interested in being in a rock band? Join on guitar, keyboard, and drums, and find out what instrument you enjoy. Learn the basics of rhythm and playing together!
      • June 13 – 16 2:00p – 5:00p
      • July 11 – 14 9:30a – 12:30p
      • July 18 – 21 9:30a – 12:30p
      • July 25 – 28 9:30a – 12:30p
      • August 15 – 18 9:30a – 12:30p
    • Drum Line Camp (Ages 8 & Up) Drop the beat! This camp is filled with rhythm techniques and fun beats! Learn to drum in a group and perform songs by Friday!
      • June 27 – 30 9:30a – 12:30p
      • July 25 – 28 2:00p – 5:00p
      • August 22 – 25 2:00p – 5:00p
    • Voice Camp (All Ages) This four-day vocal camp will teach great techniques and warm ups to be able to sing better and easier than ever before! It will be group and individual oriented, finishing with either solos or a group song performance.

      • August 8-11 9:30a-12:30p
    • Piano Camp (Ages 8-12) Piano Camp will teach you pop chords, rhythm and basic notation so you’ll be able to play your favorite tunes! By the end of this camp, you will be able to perform a rockin’ song by artists like Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Adele and more!
      • June 13 – 16 9:30a – 12:30p
      • July 11 – 14 9:30a – 12:30p
    • Rock Band 101 (Ages 8-12) This group guitar camp will help you learn basic chords and strum patterns in one week. You will be able to perform a song by the end! Try out every instrument including guitar, drums, and piano.
      • June 20 – 23 2:00p – 5:00p
      • August 15 – 18 2:00p – 5:00p
    • Rock Band 102 (Ages 13-18) Join with your instrument to learn how to be in a band! Learn how to better play your instrument while playing these fun rock songs with your new band mates! Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Drums, Bass, and Keyboard!
      • August 8 – 11 2:00p – 5:00p
    • Ukulele Camp (Ages 8 & Up) Learn fun songs on your ukulele and be able to perform by the end of the week! Songs like Over the Rainbow, Riptide, I’m Yours and more!
      • July 25 – 28 2:00p – 5:00p
    • Violin Camp (Ages 8 & Up) This group violin class helps you learn cool techniques through fun popular songs!
      • July 11 – 14 2:00p – 5:00p
    • Composition Workshop (Ages 8 & Up) This workshop will expand your knowledge on theory to better create musical riffs, chord progressions and more! Complete an entire song on your own by the end of the week.
      • June 13 2:00p – 5:00p
    • Songwriting Workshop (Ages 8 & Up) This workshop will help you learn good techniques in writing lyrics and coming up with a catchy hook! You’ll do exercises to get your creative juices flowing and be able to write a complete song by the end.
      • August 22 2:00p – 5:00p
